Lyrics & Kids

Our young writers at our Wonder of Words summer workshop were tasked to write a song. It was such a joy to read their works! They are not only fiction and non fiction writers but lyricists too!

Future songwriters at Where the Write Things Are's summer writing workshop

For this week, I’m featuring four young writers who could be our future songwriters. Their creativity and imagination is just fascinating, from a song about their favorite toy to being a better person.
